Evening, Dyfi estuary

This oil painting captures a tranquil and golden evening scene over the Dyfi estuary. It was one of the first paintings to feature boats, which are quite challenging from the point of view of perspective as well as size.

The message on the front of the card reads With Sympathy and the verse, also on the front, is, “When I said, My foot is slipping, your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.” Psalm 94 : 18-19

The verse on the back is, “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.” Psalm 143 : 8
